Join us as we unravel the complex interplay between politics, media, and corporate policies, spotlighting notable figures like Robbie Starbuck who are challenging the status quo. We tackle the apparent decline of left-wing influence, explore strategic media narratives, and dissect the fallout from recent elections that have left mainstream media outlets like MSNBC and CNN grappling for relevance. This episode is a wake-up call, emphasizing the need for awareness and active engagement in these transformative times.

Our conversation turns sharply into the corporate realm, exploring how powerhouse companies like Walmart are reevaluating their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies under conservative pressure. With the Supreme Court's recent ruling against affirmative action providing new momentum, we assess how these changes are rippling through the political landscape. From Robbie Starbuck’s vocal opposition to DEI practices to a lively exchange between Bill Maher and Neil deGrasse Tyson about "woke nonsense," we present a multifaceted view of this ongoing debate. Engage with us as we navigate these pressing issues and uncover the evolving dynamics that shape our society today.

Speaker 1:

Samuels, hello patriots, welcome to the show. We're here and the left wokeness seems to actually be just dying. This is not something that I physically anticipated to actually happen after this election. I did think that we would win the election and that Donald Trump would become president. I did not anticipate a red wave the way that we saw it and I did not anticipate all of the legacy in mainstream media to die in one swoop, as we've talked about repeatedly on this show.

Speaker 1:

Msnbc is for sale. Cnn has expected massive layoffs. Rachel maddow had to take a five million dollar pay cut in order for the company to survive. Now what we're seeing is massive companies getting rid of their DEI policies. Yes, that's right, we're talking about. Walmart, for one is getting rid of their DEI policies. Now, this apparently comes from the work of Robbie Starbuck, who is a podcaster who has become famous, for he went after Harley Davidson, and rightfully so. I worked for Harley Davidson for many years and I can tell you that the woke thing was absolutely true. Okay, that's why a lot of the harley davidson university people left there. There was just massive quitting. It was a huge mess. We should do an entire show on that. Uh, I went my separate ways with the company, worked there for many, many years at very, in very high positions, so. But robbie starbuck um has exposed wal's DEI policy and has successfully got them to revamp it, which we're going to go over.

Speaker 1:

But before we go any further, make sure you hit that like, share and subscribe button. Don't forget, drop a comment below, share this with your friends and family. If you're listening on the podcast, copy the link, send it to your friends, invite them to the show. The more viewers we have, the more this word will spread. The fight is not over. It is not going to be over for a very long time. The left is regrouping. They're leaving twitter. They're going to blue sky. They're strategizing. They're trying to to rebuild what they had that the right took from them, which was complete control over the media, complete control over social media companies and legislation that was coming down to shut down the internet and control what you say on the internet. These things are real. They were happening. It's not theories. That's the reality of the situation.

Speaker 1:

These things do happen and they have happened in our history, and if you are not prepared, you'll wish that you were. Here is a video that Robbie Starbuck posted on X, talking about what he did with Walmart. Let's listen to this.

Speaker 4:

All right, y'all. I don't even know how to start this video because, honestly, this is different than everything else we've done, because this is the single largest employer in the United States. We are talking about a company that is worth almost a trillion dollars on its own. As many of you know, I have been investigating a massive company now for a while and I have kept my lips sealed on who it was. Now I can reveal it was Walmart, but something incredible happened in the course of my investigation.

Speaker 4:

Walmart became aware of our investigation and reached out to me. This was critical and, honestly, turned out pretty fantastic for everybody involved. In my opinion, we were able to have frank conversations with Walmart and, as I've said for a long time, I don't ask companies to take on my political views. I am simply advocating for corporate neutrality. I believe that that is the future, because I understand there are people in this country who do not agree with my politics, so it would not be fair of me to force my politics on them, the same way that I am not okay with left-wing policies being forced on me.

Speaker 1:

This should be common sense for any company, but we're not seeing that. It like stay out of politics. I had this argument when I was at harley davidson. Nobody wanted to listen to me. Just stay out of politics. Just stay the hell out of it. Don't go near it. Don't don't celebrate friggin left wing um, left wing holidays and left wing agendas. Just stay neutral. Everybody is in the market, whether they're Democrats or Republicans, they all, whatever. They all shop at Walmart, or they all ride Harley Davidsons, or they all ride Yamahas or buy Subarus. Don't piss anybody off. This should be common sense, successful in infiltrating our school system and programming people to believe in a left-wing ideology and believe that socialism is good and accepting everybody's great and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Speaker 1:

Listen, I do not hate education. I do not. I went to college. I have a master's degree. I didn't go to law school, but I was accepted to law school. I took the LSATs. I've done a lot of college in my life.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I think college is great, but I will tell you that it is an indoctrination center and if you don't go in there with the mentality to learn and keep biases out of it, right, you're going to assume that the PhD or the person who has the doctorate who's teaching you is the authority. So you're going to take that on and you're going to keep that with you for the rest of your life, because that's what you've learned Now. This is nothing new. This is what totalitarian countries have done for ages. For ages, totalitarian countries have done that where they have infiltrated the schools or they have made propaganda camps or reeducation camps for those who don't pay attention, and they fall in line with that ideology. Education is supposed to be free. It's supposed to be out of fear of repercussion from the government. The government shouldn't even be involved. It should be a private, independent system, a capitalist system, where you choose where your children go.

Speaker 4:

And people like me via things like DEI. After various conversations, I am very proud to report to you guys that Walmart has decided on making some changes.

Speaker 4:

I'm going to lay out what those changes are for you and explain how massive this is for our movement. We are unstoppable at this point. With a 100% flip rate, we change corporate america and get them back to a culture of sanity and neutrality. Bullet point number one walmart will be removing all inappropriate sexual and or transgender products that are marketed toward kids, things like chest binders for teenagers or books that encourage transitioning. That is all going to be gone. Bullet point number good going to be gone.

Speaker 1:

Bullet point number two Good, it should be gone. That should not be on a shelf. You should not be encouraging children into that lifestyle. Now, when they get older and they become adults, if they wish to go that route, they can go that route. Sorry, yeah, I mean. Whatever. It's America dude, go ahead. You want to remove your body parts, man, go ahead, you're an adult. You want to get a tattoo? Go ahead, you're an adult. You want to put a tattoo on your face? Go ahead, you're an adult. You may regret it, but you're an adult. I'm not going to stop you from doing whatever you want to do, but the second you go into children and indoctrinating children or encouraging children to act this way, it's child abuse.

Speaker 4:

Walmart is going to review and stop funding to all events that could be sexually inappropriate for kids.

Speaker 4:

That includes drag queen story time pride events that expose kids to sexually inappropriate topics. That's all going to stop going forward. Third bullet point Walmart will be closing their racial equity center. This is a center they had committed $100 million to and it was a five-year project. They will be closing that center. Equity center this is a center they had committed $100 million to and it was a five-year project. They will be closing that center going forward.

Speaker 4:

Fourth bullet point Walmart will no longer participate in the HRC's Corporate Equality Index social credit system. This scoring system is what has brought wokeness into so many segments of corporate America and we are happy to see them no longer participating. There is not a corporation in America that should be participating with the HRC's CEI scoring system going forward. The HRC got explicitly political in the 2024 election, working with everything they have to defeat Donald Trump and calling him every name in the book. It is time for companies to recognize that they need to move away from this system that is explicitly political and embrace corporate neutrality so that everybody is welcome in their stores. Fifth bullet point Walmart is going to be reviewing their supplier diversity programs to ensure that nobody's receiving preferential treatment on the basis of race, and they will also ensure that financing eligibility will no longer be predicated on providing certain demographic information.

Speaker 1:

Correct. You should not get any benefit because you're a certain race. That's actually called racism. That's racism. Sorry, that's exactly what that is.

Speaker 4:

Sixth bullet point and this is a favorite for me, being Latino myself Walmart will no longer be using the term Latinx in any of their official communications. That is going to be wiped away. I was very disappointed to see it was there, but again, this is across corporate America. So this is a company, walmart, who is doing the right thing here and I want to give them credit for that. Getting rid of this big. We don't want to hear Latinx ever again.

Speaker 4:

Bullet point number seven Walmart will be discontinuing their racial equity training through the Racial Equity Institute Again, getting rid of woke trainings. And, last but not least, drum roll please for the big one, dei. They will be discontinuing use of DEI, both publicly and privately at Walmart. This is a massive win for our movement. The momentum just keeps growing. This is the largest employer in the united states, worth almost a trillion dollars. Other companies are taking notice. Suppliers of walmart are taking notice. Now, with christmas right around the corner, I'm happy I could deliver you guys one retailer that will drop the woke policies. You've still got amazon and target acting crazy out there with wokeness, so I'm glad I could give you guys one at least. And yes, we do have our eyes on amazon and target they're all going to start to follow.

Speaker 1:

That's what's going to happen. They're going to start. These companies copy each other right, so they're going to start to follow. It's a complete waste of money. Number one it's not economically beneficial to support dei agendas and if you're promoting people based on how they look or what social class they're in, you're not going to get the best quality person in those positions and you're going to lose money. And I'm sure that what they did is. They presented them a lot of data, a lot of facts, and they really used the momentum of this election to say listen, the American people do not want this. You're going to lose a lot of business doing it. This is a massive success for the movement, as Robbie Starbuck has said.

Speaker 4:

America just voted and we voted against wokeness. We voted for sanity. We voted for corporate neutrality. We don't want companies funding divisive things, and Walmart is setting a great example here. For other companies to turn around. It's not too late, turn around. People are very forgiving and we can get back to sanity together and rebuild and make this country the greatest it can possibly be. As this New York Times headline clearly illustrates, the paradigm has changed. Companies need to listen to our movement. We are powerful and growing every single day. We will not stop until we have eliminated wokeness in corporate America. If you love our work to remove wokeness from corporate America, follow me, share these videos, subscribe to my X page. It's $5 a month. It supports our research team, but please tell your friends about this and let's keep this movement growing.

Speaker 1:

So that's Robbie Starbuck. You can find him on Twitter X blah, blah, blah, blah, blah places we all know. So, anyway, massive success, huge, huge, and that's great. It's like, it's like a dream. It's like waking up to the America that you, that you have been dreaming about, saying, man, I just want sanity back. And then you wake up on November 6th and guess what? It's back.

Speaker 1:

Here's NPR's report on this situation. Again, I don't listen to these videos. I don't read the articles before I do. I probably should, but I want you guys to have a genuine reaction to my response. This is NPR. Now, npr is famously a left-wing organization, even though it's funded by the government and it's national public radio. It should not be be biased, but it is biased because anything that the government funds or supports is going to be pro-government and pro whoever's in power. So that's what you're going to get.

Speaker 1:

Walmart becomes latest and biggest company to roll back its dei policies. Walmart, the largest retailer, is rolling back its diversity, equity and inclusion policies, joining a growing list of major corporations that have done the same thing after coming under attack by conservative activists. Is it attack? Are they under attack? Is that what this is? This is. The changes confirmed by walmart on monday are sweeping and include everything from not renewing a five-year commitment for an equity racial center set up in 2020 after the police killing of george floyd, to pulling out of a prominent gay rights index. And, when it comes to race or gender, walmart won't be giving priority treatment to suppliers.

Speaker 1:

Walmart moves underscore the increasing pressure faced by corporate America as it continues to navigate the fallout of the US Supreme Court's ruling in June 2023, ending affirmative action in college admissions. Emboldened by that decision, conservative groups have filed lawsuits making similar arguments about corporations targeting workplace initiatives such as diversity programs and hiring practices that prioritize historically marginalized groups. Yes, you're discriminating If you prioritize any group, whether they're marginalized or not. That is discrimination. Yes, you should not be able to do that. Yes, you should get sued. Yes, you should have to pay money and fix your policies. 100 separately.

Speaker 1:

Conservative political commentator and activist, robbie starbuck, has been going after corporate dei policies, calling out individual companies on the social media platform x. Several of those companies have subsequently announced that they are pulling back their initiatives, including ford, ford harley davidson, lowes and tractor supply, but walmart, which employs 1.6 million workers in the us, is the largest one to do so. This is the biggest win yet for our movement to end wokeness in corporate america. Starbuck wrote on x, adding that he had been in conversation with walmart. Walmart confirmed to the associated press that it will better monitor better monitor its third-party marketplace items to make sure they they they don't feature sexual and transgender products aimed at minors. That would include chest binders intended for youth who are going through a gender change, the company said.

Speaker 1:

The Bonneville, arkansas-based retailer will also be reviewing grants to Pride events to make sure it is not financially supporting sexualized content that may be unsuitable for kids. For example, the company wants to make sure a family pavilion is not next to drag show not next to a drag show at a pride event, the company said. Additionally, walmart will no longer consider race and gender as a litmus test to improve diversity when it offers supplier contracts. The company said it didn't have quotas and will not do so going forward. It won't be gathering demographic data when determining financial eligibility for those grants established through a five-year 100 million philanthropic commitment from the company with a mandate to, according to the website, address the root causes of gaps in outcomes experienced by black and African-American people in education, health finance, criminal justice systems, and it would stop participating in the Human Rights Campaign's annual benchmark index that measures workplace inclusion for LGTBQ plus employees.

Speaker 1:

We've been on a journey and now we aren't and no, we weren't. We aren't perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging, to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customer supplies and to be Walmart for everyone. And company said in a statement yes, it's amazing the lengths you have to go through to get back to normalcy in the United States of America. It's incredible that you're just going to be like oh yeah, by the way, we want to be normal again. We don't want to support things that the majority of the United States doesn't want to support. What? Why would you? Why would you?

Speaker 1:

But the left is having a hard time with this. The people who have supported the left side of the aisle unequivocally and have fought for this are just genuinely confused. They're sitting around. I don't understand All the stuff you told me that was right and just is now, all of a sudden, not right and just anymore. Yeah, welcome to being a conservative. That's how it goes. That's exactly how it goes. But the, the left can't figure it out. And here's Neil deGrasse Tyson on Bill Maher just getting absolutely smoked in this conversation. Now, bill Maher is definitely a liberal, but he's a more practical one. He doesn't buy into the woke nonsense, which is what lost so many people to the Republican Party. That's why you lost Joe Rogan, that's why you lost Elon Musk, that's why you lost Tulsi Gabbard, that's why you lost Donald Trump because he was a Democrat back in the day.

Speaker 3:

So let's listen to this interaction between Bill Maher and Neil deGrasse Tyson. I'm going to tell you Scientific America. Scientific America, the magazine.

Speaker 5:

I remember when it was around, when I was a kid. I grew up with it, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Grew up with it, yeah, okay. Well, their editor had to quit. You saw this.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I heard about it because she expressed some opinions, right? Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Okay, sure, but it sure didn't sound scientific. It didn't sound like the person I would want to be running Scientific American.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

It was a rant on Twitter. I could read it to you. It's really ugly. I apologize to younger voters that my Gen X is so full of fucking fascists. Okay, I'm not for canceling anybody on either side, but here's what I think is the scandal. This is in Scientific American, yeah, less than a year ago. Inequity between male and female athletes is a result not of inherent biological differences between the sexes, but of biases in how they are treated in sports. That's nuts, and it sure ain't scientific, and it's in Scientific American.

Speaker 1:

That is nuts and it's not scientific. And Bill Maher is 100% right. He's been consistent on this issue. The problem is Neil deGrasse Tyson, who's supposed to be some very famous scientist who believes in science and he's actually also a famous atheist doesn't believe in two genders. What, I'm sorry, genders. What I'm sorry, what? But Bill Maher's cornering him on the issue. Now let's listen to his response.

Speaker 3:

And that's why the Democrats lost the election. It's true.

Speaker 5:

Bill. Every 20 minutes on your platform, you come up with another reason why the Democrats lost. You already have the answer they lost the election. So anything you say is why they did it.

Speaker 3:

First of all, you don't watch this show, so you don't know. I know you don't and it's okay, but you talk as if you do and you fucking don't.

Speaker 1:

And that's okay.

Speaker 3:

Just don't bullshit me. That's the one thing people can't ever do on this show is bullshit me, and that's fine, but I don't say that I have very good reasons, but engage with the idea here. What I'm asking is Scientific American is saying basically that the reason why an NBA, wnba team can't beat the Lakers is because of societal bias.

Speaker 5:

What you're saying is not. Scientific American says that. An editor for Scientific American says that who no longer has the job.

Speaker 1:

See, I was trying to twist that, but she was the editor. She said that in an article that was approved and published a while ago and never got any backtrack. So now he's trying to say he's trying to twist it and essentially defend the article, the, the article right, and defend the, the magazine or the paper, and uh, oh well, she no longer works there, right, neil? But she doesn't no longer work there because of that specific article. She no longer works there because of a rant on twitter. The article was okay. The article saying that the reason that the WNBA can't beat the Lakers or whatever female sport can't beat a men's team is not because of biology but because it's society's thoughts on the issue is ridiculous. But that article was okay. That was okay, that was fine to be published and she failed. Zero consequence for that she. The only consequence she plays was for the, the, the rant on twitter so don't indict 170 year old magazine because somebody okay, this is called scientific american and

Speaker 5:

they're printing something because someone enters the cesspool that is social media and then participates in that exchange.

Speaker 3:

So let's talk about science. Why can't you just say this is not scientific and Scientific American should do better.

Speaker 5:

Well, does she still have her job?

Speaker 3:

No, not because of this. I said the scandal is not her tweet this because that was like a year ago, was it?

Speaker 5:

which one was a year ago?

Speaker 3:

I think a year ago women still couldn't beat men in basketball or any other sport, and it wasn't because of society.

Speaker 5:

You don't see a problem long distance swimming, women might actually have the advantage. You look into that. Yeah, maybe long distance swimming, yes, okay, yeah, just I've looked in see he's trying to rationalize it.

Speaker 1:

To it desperately well, I'm gonna file you under part of the problem but this is how he is and you know, sense zero makes zero sense, zero sense. But this is the world that we live in and issue. They can't backpedal everything that they said and and take a different approach, because then they would be wrong the their entire lives. They can't backpedal because they back themselves into this quarter and what they have done is they have just, they have no credibility. And now this guy's supposed to be a scientist, he's supposed to be an authority and he can't say that men can't be women or women can't be men. He can't. He can't say that, statistically, if you take a professional men's team and a professional, you take the best men basketball players in the world and you take the best female basketball players in the world and you put them together and to play against each other, the men will win 100% of the time and the women will lose 100% of the time. And you can't just say that and say well, no, obviously men, scientifically, they have higher levels of testosterone, they're built with a higher level of endurance or they're stronger, they're faster, they're more aggressive, they train harder. You can't, he can't say that. He has to say, well, women could do better in long distance swimming, possibly, maybe, if they have a slight advantage, like what, what you find the most obscure sport, where they may not even that they will. It's not like a fact that they will, uh, but possibly maybe a um, a victory in long distance swimming. Stop it, stop it, stop it.

Speaker 1:

And I love when bill maher is like I'll just file you under part of the problem because it's true, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's absolutely true that um, that they will not um. So now, everything, everything he says, is just completely illegitimate. He wants to talk about atheism or whatever, which is just nonsense, like the universe did not come from nothing. We did not come from nothing. We do not live this life and then vanish into nothing, like that's, that's absurd, that's absurd. But I expect nothing more than that from somebody who, in the end, believes that or pretends to believe, or purports to believe, or won't admit that men can beat women in basketball. So I mean I used to like this guy's show too, the Cosmos. So I mean I used to like this guy's show too, the um, the cosmos. I thought that was pretty cool when he talked about you know, um, the universe and all that stuff.

Speaker 1:

But now it's like, if you're willing to take a political position and obviously lie on that. What else are you going to lie about? So I mean, he has zero credibility to me. I don't want to watch him or like he lost me forever. He should have just said the obvious thing. But the left is losing. They can't back down. They have to back down, but they can't back down because they can't admit that they were wrong, and that is what is going to ruin them any in the end. And I do think that the reason that they lost this election had a lot to do with the gender argument, with men and women's bathrooms, with men and women's sports. I think the American people were just over it and they're like this is ludicrous. We're going to get out and we're going to vote against it.
