Alvin Bragg has finally come out after the election and has made a determination of whether or not they're going to continue their persecution of President Trump, and the answer may very well shock you. Listen to this.
Speaker 2:Fox News Alert now and some developments in the hush money case of Donald Trump in a New York City courtroom. The New York judge, juan Merchan, has granted Trump permission to file a motion to dismiss that case. He's already said that he was going to delay sentencing for a little while. He says now that he is going to delay sentencing even further. How long this goes on is anybody's guess at this point. Obviously, the judge is going to consider this motion to dismiss.
Speaker 2:Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan DA, agreed that Trump's attorneys should have an opportunity to file a motion to dismiss to be considered by Judge Mershon. But here's the thing is that Bragg and his office are willing. If Judge Mershon does not grant the motion to dismiss, bragg and his office are willing to wait until January 20th, 2029. Wow To resume this case. They said that they're willing to put it on hold for more than four years and then start it all back up again when Trump leaves office. I mean, that is, by any stretch of the imagination, unprecedented in American judicial history. So very soon. We don't know when Trump's attorneys will file this motion to dismiss, but we should hear very soon and then we'll Wow.
Speaker 1:So this Edward Winslow looking motherfucker thinks that he is going to wait until January 20th of 2029, until well after Donald Trump's presidency to go ahead and persecute him in a case that had already ran out its statute of limitations, that they had to create another law in order to wrap him up and try to get Donald Trump convicted of something, anything, or charged with anything that they can. They're now saying that they're willing to wait. However, the notion that Alvin Bragg will do this is incredibly, I think, unlikely. I think it's incredibly unlikely. I think he may be saying that just to try to save some face on the situation, considering that he just looks like a complete idiot, like he just looks dumb.
Speaker 1:Here is the motion Supreme Court of the state of New York, county of New York, the people of the State of New York against Donald Trump I love how they say the people. They do that in every legal document. Received separate submissions from defendant and the district attorney of New York County seeking various forms of relief in connection with the above caption matter. The respective applications are decided as follows it is hereby ordered that defendant's request for leave to file a motion to dismiss pursuant to criminal procedure law 210.40 is granted, and it is further ordered that the joint request for a motion schedule is granted. Defendant's motion is due by the close of business day, monday, december 2nd 2024. The people's response is due by the close of business. Monday, december 9 2024. The court will not accept reply briefs and is further ordered that the application to stay decision on defendants criminal procedure law motion is granted pending receipt of papers from all parties submitted in accordance with the motion schedule noted above, and it is further ordered that the joint application for a stay of sentencing is granted to the extent that November 6, 2024 date is adjourned. The above constitutes the decision and the order of the court.
Speaker 1:That's from Judge Mershon. Now don't get too excited. All this means is that the Trump attorneys can file a motion to dismiss the case. This is absolutely ludicrous. This is absolutely insane that this thing has not been dismissed and thrown out. Continue this. I really do think that Donald Trump will continue to just go after them with the Department of Justice. I would not blame him. I would not blame him. I would actually support him if he did that. Alvin Bragg, judge Mershon, that whole crooked district attorney's office, including Letitia James they should all be in federal prison for what they have done, how they have used the criminal justice system against somebody they didn't like. Because they didn't like that person, they decided to throw the book at them or even, in some cases, just make up the book and decide to go ahead and persecute somebody that is just completely innocent of this crime.
